John Vaughan FNAEA MARLA, Director

Following a long and successful career at Hamptons, John founded a buying agency in the early 1990’s. At the time, the London property market was in another serious decline but with his expert knowledge of the market and extensive contacts he built his business making significant purchases for overseas clients - many that are still held in the portfolio managed by Prime Portfolio today.

Long term relationships and a personal service have been key to providing a full all encompassing service for private clients and he is well known in the market by the many selling agents of Prime London, a major advantage in today’s competitive environment.

As a board member of the Central London branch of the National Association of Estate Agents (FNAEA) and a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), professional diligence is one of the most important aspects of any transaction he may be asked to pursue.

John is a fluent Italian speaker and predominantly deals with European Clients but also works in South Africa and the Middle East.

Perry Bousfield FRICS, Director

Perry, a Chartered Surveyor, trained at Hamptons where he spent over 20 years before leaving in 1990 to establish his own business offering a bespoke prime Central London residential property consultancy service to international clients. With a focus on the importance of long term relationships, he has built an extensive client base working through both referrals, private banks, solicitors and other professional services, many of whom Prime Portfolio still represent today.

Throughout his career Perry has worked closely with investors from South East Asia, specifically Hong Kong and Singapore. Perry regularly travels to Asia to visit his clients and also meet new investors. He spends time updating both owners and prospective purchasers on the London residential market, the opportunities available and discusses their individual portfolio requirements.

Chris Mercer - Tax Adviser

Chris has been involved in residential lettings since the early 1980's, when he became a director of one of the first specialist estate agencies to concentrate on the London residential lettings market.

In 1994 he set up the MTM Tax Service, tailored to the needs of non-resident and expatriate investors in UK residential property. The MTM Tax Service provides landlords with tax advice and administration throughout the process of acquiring and letting residential property. All clients are assured a personal service, with prompt and detailed advice on any questions arising, an ethos that fits in well with the service offered to its clients by Prime Portfolio, with whom Chris has worked closely for several years.

Ian Cross - Consultant Surveyor

Ian qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1972, transferring to Fellowship in 1984. A General Practice Surveyor, previously in partnership with a multi-branch Home Counties Estate Agency until the late 1980’s when he left to set up his own independent Consultancy. He advises clients on a wide range of mainly residential and to a lesser extent commercial property matters.

Ian specialises in the administration of repair, extension and refurbishment schemes from inception to completion, Building and Diagnostic surveys, Home Buyers Reports, Valuations for all purposes, and Party Wall disputes.

Ian works closely with Prime Portfolio to offer comprehensive surveying advice and assistance to our clients.

Neil West MARLA - Senior Property Manager

Neil has over 8 years experience of property management and letting across London and the South East. He began his career with Countrywide Residential Lettings before moving to Countrywide’s Property Management department as an assistant Lettings Manager. In 2005 Neil joined Williams Lynch, an independent estate agency, as a property manager, personally managing over 80 individual units. Neil is the heads up the management and lettings team at Prime Portfolio, overseeing all residential property management, block management and Lettings portfolios.
